BHS Book Club

BHS Book Club promotes reading by promoting choice in their selections, but with an emphasis on the Georgia Peach and the Tome books. Each month students meet to discuss their book based on a theme or genre. They also write reviews of books they have read. The last meeting of the year is focused on the Peach and Tome books that were their favorites. These students also operate the Bearcat Brew: which sells hot chocolate and coffee on Fridays in the cold months. Their most recent service project has been to install and stock free pad dispensers in three of the girls' restrooms.

    First meeting will be during lunches on Monday, Sept. 28. Read any of this year's Peach books and come ready to eat and discuss! See you in the library for lunch.

    First meeting Fall 2016 will be after school on Wednesday, Oct. 26. If you can't make it, just come by the Media Center for info.
