Phoenix Island

Finally finished reading Phoenix Island and creating the RC counts quiz for it! Talk about non-stop action/adventure thriller... Carl has a good heart, but a rough life. Now an orphan and in trouble with the law, he is banished to a juvenile boot camp for orphans on an island of the coast of... well, no one was really specific about that. It doesn't take Carl too long to figure out Phenix Island is not your regular boot camp type program. The drill sergeants take "mean" to a new level. Kids disappear. A mad doctor runs the "Chop Shop." Of course, it's complete with a megalomaniac. Soon, Carl just is just trying to survive the day, but that's difficult when you are "an individual" with a strong sense of responsibility to protect the weak and wounded.
